UR Competitive Funds
As part of a significant institutional effort to give new impetus to research with coherence, exigency, and recognition, several lines of promotion and support have been designed.
The competitive funds are part of the package of resources for promoting and strengthening research, designed to provide a favorable ecosystem for the development of research at Universidad del Rosario. The diversification of resources and funds for the financing of research projects will make it possible to respond in a timely manner to the heterogeneity of capacities and needs among the different academic units, groups, and researchers, as well as to the interests of the University and its academic units in research topics.
With this set of resources, we aim to facilitate the means that will allow an increase in the quantity and quality of research, greater recognition of the abilities of University researchers to generate quality scientific knowledge, and the positioning of the University as a key player for its contributions to the advancement of science and to regional, national, and international development.

Objetivo: Fomentar la colaboración disciplinar, interdisciplinaria e interinstitucional entre la Universidad del Rosario, la Universidad Externado de Colombia, la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana y la Universidad de los Andes, para diseñar y desarrollar proyectos de investigación fundamental e investigación aplicada en torno al desarrollo sostenible en los ámbitos social, político, ambiental, económico, cultural, técnico y tecnológico.
